Bratislava Metro is open to practical input: feature ideas, bug reports, UI asset help, technical notes, and focused code proposals.

Not ready to touch code? Send a feature idea, bug report, screenshot, rough solution, or tiny design note. Surface observations around spots and routes are also useful.

How it can work

Feature, fix, proposal, pull request

You can propose a feature, report a bug, sketch a technical solution, or share a small code change. To keep it reasonable and safe, changes should stay scoped, avoid secrets or private data, and be discussed before anything is merged.

Pixel art / UIOpen

Aseprite designer

Help shape the Bratislava Metro visual system: pins, sprites, small UI states, map details and export-ready pixel assets.

Read the brief

Focus

  • Aseprite workflow for spritesheets, icons and tiny interface details.
  • Pixel pins for spot, skatepark, water, downhill and future surface states.
  • Readable assets at small sizes on mobile map UI.
  • Consistent export naming, scale and transparent PNG handoff.

Good fit

  • You like pixel art but can keep it functional and readable.
  • You can iterate from rough references without needing a finished brand system.
  • You care about skate/street visual language more than generic app polish.
Arduino / dataOpen

IoT technical student

Build the technical base for Batro/sensor telemetry: GPS, IMU, logging and clean data exports for the rideability layer.

Read the brief

Focus

  • Arduino or ESP32 prototype with GPS and accelerometer/gyroscope sampling.
  • CSV/JSONL logs with timestamp, lat/lon, accuracy, speed and vibration values.
  • Basic calibration rides and notes about sensor placement on a skateboard.
  • Small import scripts so recorded data can become map segments.

Good fit

  • You are comfortable debugging hardware and messy field data.
  • You can document setup steps so the prototype is repeatable.
  • You want a practical student project connected to maps, mobility and open data.

Write what you want to help with, what you have built before, and how much time you can give in the next few weeks. Portfolio links, GitHub, sketches, route notes or quick context are enough.
